William ‘Billy’ Vale has announced his candidacy for Palm Beach County Commission Seat D.

By eliminating fellow Republican contender Susan Haynie in the upcoming August 28th Republican primary, Mr. Vale would go on to compete against Democratic candidate Robert Weinroth in the November 2018 General Election.

  • Originally from Ohio, Billy is a graduate of Florida State and Nova Southeastern University with a focus on Management and International Business.
  • Billy, an avid golfer, moved to Boca del Mar with his family in 2000 and has served on their Association Board since 2011.
  • As a Board member of the Boca Del Mar Improvement Association, Billy has been a fearless defender of neighborhood rights and the preservation of green space.
Under his leadership the Association cried foul when the County approved a section of their golf course for development and proceeded to take their case to court, the case continues pro se.

As County Commissioner, Mr. Vale will face more challenges than encroachment of recreational space. Palm Beach County’s District 4 stretches from South Palm Beach to Boca Raton and is one of the wealthiest portions of the state. Issues related to airports, train, schools, infrastructure and local municipalities will all become part of Billy’s every day agenda if he is successful in his bid for the County Seat.
