Boca Raton can vote new flags, change the city seal, and paint city properties whatever colors fit the whim du-jour. One thing that cannot be changed are the canonical colors of Boca.
It’s not expected for the average person to know why these colors can’t be changed for Boca, why these are the canonical colors, but those who work with color and use color as craft may see why.
I’ll leave it up to someone capable of design to answer this question:
