Piano sensation Jamie (Lober) will play the hallmarks of the season with a touch of jazz. “You can expect to hear all the beloved classics like Nat King Cole’s ‘Christmas Song,’ Jose Feliciano’s ‘Feliz Navidad’ and The Carpenters’ ‘Merry Christmas Darling’ but they will be dressed up with extra sparkle for the occasion,” said Lober. There could not be a better description.
Less bitter and more glitter is how Lober hopes to transform the world through her music. “You can learn a lot about people by finding out what songs are meaningful to them and for me, I have been able to tell my story through song,” said Lober. Lober has played the piano for over 30 years and has been singing loud and proud into the microphone since she was a child. She is a true entertainer who is captivating, gifted, beautiful and has a magnetic personality and dazzling stage presence. “I have been through a lot of hardships including the loss of the two people closest to me but still being able to spread joy through my music to me is a testament of how strong and brave I am,” said Lober.
For Lober the holiday season is about photographing all of the community Christmas trees and menorahs, watching the boat parades, going on holiday light cruises and making memories with those dearest to her who are the family she made for herself. “There are so many wonderful reasons to be happy,” said Lober. One reason folks should be happy is that the Christmas Spectacular was originally 50 dollars a person and in recognition of the fact that it has been a difficult year for most, Lober has decided to make it a complimentary afternoon with donations appreciated but not required. “Any donation goes toward buying fun props for future stages or great new music so you will be able to see all of it,” said Lober. Saturday, December 26, 2020 is sure to be a memorable afternoon especially if you are looking for someone upbeat and compassionate to spend the most wonderful time of the year. “All I want to do is make everyone’s Christmas a little merrier and brighter,” said Lober.
