Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of over 35 million people worldwide. This classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers including “Be Our Guest” and the beloved title song. Experience the romance and enchantment of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!” – Broadway.com

Broadway at its finest….It really does not get any better than this….Marilyn and Kimberly Wick have, by far, outdone themselves with this exciting stage adaptation of Disney’s classic love story, Beauty and the Beast.

In their on-going effort to provide high level Broadway entertainment year round, the Wick Theater has raised the cultural bar in Boca Raton to new heights.  This rare off-season production is simply outstanding.  The cast, the production, the mixture of screen and stage technology are all superb!  This effort should not go heralded and should attract the support of all us year round Boca Raton residents.

Scheduled from June 8 through July 9, this is a must see offering.

Community support is essential so that the Wick is encouraged to continue their efforts to be a year round entertainment venue.

Last evening, Saturday, June 17th was a special dinner and fund raiser for the Wick.

Marilyn Wick, Managing Executive Producer, took center stage before the production to announce the selections for this, their 5th season, beginning in the fall.  She also reached out to the audience for support to continue to provide this magnificent venue to the public.  New roof, new A/C units, new staging…all necessary and all essential to improve the audience experience and pleasure.  She announced a goal for this season to move towards a 5,000 subscriber level; currently the subscriber level hovers around the 3700 mark.

What followed next was really unexpected…an incredible evening of music, song, dance and entertainment.

During intermission, Marilyn offered BocaWatch the opportunity to give away up to 100 tickets for this classic performance to academic and non-profit groups within Boca Raton for selected performance dates throughout the remaining run of the show.
